Richard Teitelman

Richard B. (Rick) Teitelman is a justice on the Missouri Supreme Court. He was appointed to the Court in February 2002 by then-governor Bob Holden, a Democrat.
Teitelman subsequently was retained in office in November 2004 for a 12-year term that expires in 2016. Prior to his term on the state's highest court, he served on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District from January 1998 to February 2002.
Education
Justice Teitelman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1969 and his Juris Doctor in 1973.[1]
